Super Fun and Gnarly Trailer For The Wrestling Horror Comedy HERE FOR BLOOD
Here’s an entertaining trailer for a wild and violent horror comedy titled Here for Blood. The film is a gnarly throwback film inspired by the gore-fasts of the '80s and '90s. The movie is described as "like Evil Dead 2 with John Cena as Ash plus a dash of You're Next and The Babysitter."
The story follows a pro wrestler who is struggling to make ends meet. In an effort to make ends meet, he agrees to babysit a 10-year-old girl. What starts out as a pretty chill night, escalates into complete and utter bloody chaos when the home in invaded by a group of mentally deranged maniacs.
In the film, “When his girlfriend, Phoebe (Joelle Farrow), is swamped with her college exams; Tom (Shawn Roberts), a rowdy pro-wrestler struggling to make ends meet, agrees to fill in as a last-minute replacement for her well paying babysitting job. Tom arrives at an isolated family home where he meets the precocious 10-year-old Grace. What starts off as a quiet night of pizza and video games quickly spirals into bloody, violent chaos as Tom & Grace find themselves fighting for their lives when an otherworldly cult of masked intruders descend on the home.”
The movie was directed by Daniel Turres and it also stars Maya Misaljevic, Tara Spencer-Nairn, and Michael Therriault, with Twister Sister's Dee Snider as the voice of the skull.
Here for Blood will be released in select theaters and on VOD + streaming on Screambox starting February 9th, 2024.
