Superboy is Joining DC Universe's TITANS and Here's Who's Playing Him

If you’ve seen the first season of DC Universe’s Titans, then you know that Superboy and his dog Krypto were set up for Season 2. This got some fans excited for what is to come.

Now we know who will be taking on the role of Conner Kent a.k.a. Superboy. They’ve cast actor Joshua Orpin in the role. I’m not familiar with the actor, and he hasn’t really done much, but it looks like he will fit the role. In a post-credits scene of the series Conner escapes from Project Cadmus with Krypto.

According to the official character description Superboy "is the angsty teenager of steel searching for purpose and the truth about his past. While looking for answers, he crashes into the world of the Titans, where he finds an unlikely home and surrogate family as well as revelations that carry more complications than he ever bargained for."

Conner Kent was created by Karl Kesel and Tom Grummett, and the character made his debut in 1993's The Adventures of Superman #500. He has an interesting back story in the comics and I’m looking forward to seeing how the character will be handled in Titans.

Titans Season 2 is said to begin production in the next few weeks. The first season is now streaming on DC Universe.
