Supercut: These 10 Films Are on the Oscars Shortlist for Best Visual Effects

Of all the movies that you saw in 2016, which had the best visual effects? There are a few obvious blockbuster choices, like Captain America: Civil War or Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, but remember The Jungle Book? Or Kubo and the Two Strings? It's probably going to be a tough category at the Oscars next month, and now Art of the Film has put out a supercut that conveniently compiles footage from the ten hopefuls. Only five of these films will actually get nominated on January 24th, and the rest will join Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse, Sully, Suicide Squad, Warcraft, and more in the reject pile.
