SUPERGIRL Video Takes You Behind The Scenes During Filming

Personally, I think CBS' new Supergirl series looks like an utter disaster, and our review of the pilot episode seems to prove that assessment correct. To be fair, a lot of shows take some time to come into their own and find their style of storytelling, so there's a chance that this show could eventually turn into something excellent. (But remember it's on CBS, so that doesn't really seem likely to me.)

Still, there are plenty of people out there who are excited for this, and those people aren't going to let my naysaying get them down. For those people — and anyone else who's curious — CBS has released a new behind-the-scenes video of the first day of filming on Supergirl. Well, it's not technically the first day of filming, since they filmed the pilot months ago so the network could make sure they still wanted to move forward with it, but this is the first day of filming after they'd been given a full season order. Check out the vibe on set and see some of the action the series has in store as characters push Supergirl's powers to the limit.

Melissa Benoist stars, and the show premieres on Monday, October 26 at 8:30pm before moving to its regular time slot on Monday, November 2 at 8:00pm.
