I’ve got a cool fan-made DC short film for you to watch today titled Superman Awakens. This was a passion project for the creative team behind it and the CGI cinematic was inspired by Alex Ross’ Kingdom Come Superman and the work of the legendary Alex Ross.

The stylized short was created by Antonis and Stavros Fylladitis and a team of dedicated DC Comics fans. The video came with the note: “It’s our first film-making attempt in Unreal Engine 5 using the Lumen technology and we are blown away by its speed and capabilities.”

The end result is pretty cool and I’m a fan of the visuals. I really love this version and style of Superman and I’m happy to see this short film embrace it. I think that fans are going to enjoy it! Check it out and tell us what you think!
