SUPERMAN & LOIS Season 4 Mid-Season Trailer Teases Superman's Final Showdown with Lex and Doomsday
CW Network has released a mid-season trailer for Superman & Lois Season 4, and it teases the final episodes of the series and Superman’s final battle with Lex Luthor and Doomsday.
It’s looking like this show is going to end on a strong note, and fans seem to be enjoying what the final season has delivered so far.
The final season picks up after the events of Season 3, beginning with the death of Superman after a battle with Doomsday. This week’s episode ended with the big revelation that Superman was back, which is something that we all saw coming.
Superman ended up being saved thanks to a heart transplant from Lois Lane’s father, General Sam Lane, after he was shot and close to death. Sam sacrificed himself at the hands of Doomsday so that his heart could go to Clark.
As you might imagine, the human heart is affecting Superman and wearing on him, and there are signs that his superpowers are fading and his hair is turning gray.
Series star Elizabeth Tulloch said of that: “I think the way he comes back is really interesting because all of the sudden he has a 60-something-year-old man’s heart — and a human heart — that he’s working with. So, it is a different person whose powers are…we don’t know what it’s going to look like [yet].”
In addition to Doomsday, Lex will be suiting up to take down Superman once and for all, as he is wearing a suit of tech armor similar to what John Henry Irons wears.
It’s going to be really interesting to see how the rest of the series plays out!
