Superman Meets Krypto in New SUPERGIRL TV Spot

The marketing campaign for Supergirl is in full swing and a newly released international TV spot and while much of the footage will be familiar to anyone who has been following the film, there’s one standout moment that is sure to get DC fans smiling.

The preview puts Superman front and center as he comes face-to-face with a young Krypto for the first time. As you might expect from the super-powered canine, the meeting doesn’t exactly begin with a warm welcome.

Instead, Krypto immediately attempts to take a bite out of Kara Zor-El’s famous cousin, creating a hilarious moment between two of DC’s most beloved characters.

It’s a brief scene, but it adds another layer of personality to Krypto, who has already become a fan favorite thanks to his appearances in Superman and the Supergirl promo material. The playful dynamic between Supergirl and Krypto looks like it could end up being one of the movie’s biggest charms.

The film stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl, and marks the next major chapter in DC Studios’ growing cinematic universe.

Directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, the story follows Kara after an unexpected and ruthless enemy strikes close to home. Forced into action, she teams up with an unlikely companion and embarks on a sweeping interstellar quest fueled by both vengeance and justice.

Joining Alcock in the cast are Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa.

Between the cosmic scale of the story, the growing DC roster, and scene-stealing moments from Krypto, Supergirl is shaping up to be one of the most exciting superhero movies on the horizon. If this latest TV spot is any indication, Kara’s adventure will deliver plenty of action, heart, and a few laughs along the way.

Supergirl flies into theaters on June 26, 2026.
