SUPERNATURAL's Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins Join THE BOYS Fifth and Final Season

Supernatural’s Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins have officially been cast in Prime Video’s fifth and final season of The Boys. They will have guest appearances in the series, but their roles have not been revealed.

Padalecki and Collins will also be reunited with Jensen Ackles, their Supernatural co-star who joined The Boys in Season 3. The three actors shot and posted a video on Instagram to share the news.

Based on The New York Times’ best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys subverts the superhero genre.

It imagines a present-day world where awesome avengers, controlled by the unscrupulous Vought corporation, purport to stand for “truth and justice” while secretly committing heinous acts.

When talking about crafting the conclusion of the show, Kripke added. “Anything can truly happen. We’re both having fun and absolute terror in the writers’ room, at the same time. It’s so fun to have all guardrails off.

“You’re not beholden to maintaining any storyline or character beyond this season. Nothing and no one is safe, and that’s really liberating and fun.”

The series also stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti.

Daveed Diggs has also joined the show alongside Stranger Things alum Mason Dye in the role of Bombsight.
