Support Extra Life with MAGIC: THE GATHERING in November

Magic: The Gathering is teaming up with Extra Life to help some kids. The two companies will be supporting the Seattle Children’s Hospital via a dedicated Secret Lair drop happening next month as well as via Twitch streams, auctions, and more.

The November Secret Lair will be Secret Lair: Extra Life 2020. There will be premium foil alternate art cards based on highlighting the importance of family and children. The cards include Collected Company, Consecrated Sphinx, Amulet of Vigor, and Teferi’s Protection. The Secret Lair will be available to pre-order from November 6-9 and will cost $60. For each copy sold, Wizards of the Coast has pledged to donate $30 to Extra Life.

Something else that fans can do is head on over to Ultra PRO between November 6 and 9 to pick up a cool new playmat featuring art from the Secret Lair. Each mat will cost $21.99, and Wizards will donate $16 per playmat purchased.

In addition, MTG will be auctioning off 20 uncut sheets over on ebay. The sheets “range from German Fifth Edition rares and lands to Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths mythic rare showcase cards - and even a Mystery Booster Convention Edition sheet,” giving fans an amazing collectible item to show off. All profits and fees will be donated. The auctions will run from October 29-November 7.

If you like watching stream, you can tune in to Twitch on November 7 from 6PM-12AM where you’ll be able to watch “MTG Arena stipulation drafts, a Q&A with Mark Rosewater, Mini MTG Arena Ironroot Chef, and more.”

Another way to support Extra Life is by purchasing the Extra Life logo sleeves in MTG Arena with proceeds being donated. These will be available November 6-9. Also, there will be playmats and apparel at the MTG Pro Shop for you to purchase.

Finally, MTG is inviting the streaming community to get in on the action by joining the Magic Super Team. Streamers will be able to compete alone or as a team (up to six per team) in an effort to raise funds for Extra Life. The top 8 will receive MTG Arena codes for their audience of the special alternate-art of Collected Company.
