Surfshark Launches New App for Windows 95 Machines

Virtual Private Networks or VPNs have been increasingly popular as ways to protect your information as you surf the web and to access region-locked content. One of the more prominent players in the field is Surfshark, and they’ve decided to travel back in time and help protect the fools in 1995 who would surf the Internet with nary a care in the world once they connected. That’s right, you can now place your mail order for Surfshark on WIndows 95 and it only requires five floppy disks! Surfshark CEO Vytautas Kaziukonis said:

Technology has been so focused on moving forward that we’ve all forgotten about the quality solutions of operating systems past. The team at Surfshark continues to work tirelessly to stay at the cutting edge of innovation and ensure all our users’ privacy and security. Our latest release, Surfshark Windows 95 edition, will highly contribute to a better surfing experience.

In case you haven’t figure it out, this is an elaborate April Fool’s joke by the VPN. It’s a very fun joke they’ve made with a great video down below. While you can’t get Surfshark for Windows 95 on five floppy disks, they have created some retro wallpapers for you to download and enjoy.

We've got some pretty big news! 📰By popular request, we're releasing Surfshark VPN for Windows '95 OS ❗
