Surprising Details on Scoot McNairy’s Role in BATMAN V SUPERMAN

Ever since it was announced that Scoot McNairy was cast in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, everyone has been speculating who exactly he will be playing in the film. There were some set photos that leaked out early one featuring the actor wearing green knee-high socks which means there will be some kind of digital effects used, but for what?

Some people speculated that McNairy would be playing Metallo, others thought that he would be playing Jimmy Olsen, who was rumored to have been badly injured during the battle between Superman and General Zod in Man of Steel.

You can see McNairy sitting in a wheelchair in two places in the trailer. He is in the shots by the memorial for the Battle of Metropolis, and he’s in the shot when Superman shows up at a Senate hearing. Latino Review has found out what his character’s role in the story is, and it’s actually pretty surprising.

SPOILER WARNING:

"McNairy's wheelchair-bound character will be brought in to testify against Superman to the U.S. Senate, but also becomes a victim of Lex Luthor's campaign against the Man of Steel. One of Luthor's schemes in the movie involves turning McNairy's character into a human bomb of sorts, radicalizing him, in an attempt to get him close to Superman and to hurt him."

That’s sounds pretty damn intense. Is Lex going to use him to see how powerful Superman actually is, and if he could survive an explosion!? Lex sure is one evil bastard. I assume McNairy isn’t going to make it through this movie alive.
