Sweet Trailer for Apple TV+ Feature Adaptation of Classic Tale THE VELVETEEN RABBIT
Apple TV+ has released a sweet trailer for their short feature adaptation of the classic children’s book The Velveteen Rabbit, written by Margery Williams, published in 1922. The film is being directed by Jennifer Perrott (Doctor Who, Gentleman Jack, The Midwich Cuckoos), the animation is directed by Rick Thiele, and the story was adapted by Tom Bidwell.
The synopsis reads:
“Based on the treasured, classic children's book by Margery Williams, Apple TV+'s The Velveteen Rabbit adaptation celebrates the magic of unconditional love. When 7-year-old William receives a new favorite toy for Christmas, he discovers a lifelong friend and unlocks a world of magic.”
The Velveteen Rabbit will begin streaming on Apple TV+ on November 22nd, and is the perfect short film for families to enjoy this holiday season. Check out the trailer below:
