SWORDS OF LEGENDS Drops Trailers and Details for Two Classes

Swords of Legends Online is an MMORPG based on Chinese mythology and legend coming to the west later this year. Gameforge, the company bringing the game over, recently revealed more details about two of the classes.

First, we’ll look over the Reaper. Designed to be a hybrid class for fans of support and DPS roles. Reapers use blood magic and razor-sharp scythes to stop their enemies. All classes in SOLO will have two Masteries to choose from and for the Reaper, there’s the Assassin and the Occultist. Assassins use stealth, curses, and poison along with their scythe to put an end to their foes. Occultists on the other hand are more direct in their attacks and can also use the Book of Blessed Healing to heal and buff allies.

Nestled in the bosom of the holy and sacred Heavenly Ridge, the Reapers carry on the traditional worship of the goddess Nüwa. The Lao people who lived on Heavenly Ridge and worshipped Nüwa eventually split into two factions, seeing one tasked with protecting the Grand Warlock and sacred religious artifacts. These Reapers live and train in a glorious underground temple, honing their techniques with blood magic, stealth, and the breeding of deadly poisonous beasts from the deep.

As disciples of an ancient clan, Reapers blur the boundaries between life and death. Using their powerful scythes, they rake across the battlefield like hurr...

The second recently revealed class is the Berserker. As you might imagine, Berserkers charge into battle with their huge greatsword and wolf companion. If you like tanking and dealing damage, this is the class for you. The two Masteries for the Berserker are the Slayer and the Drunken Master. Slayers are about dealing massive damage to hordes of enemies. Drunken Masters numb themselves to pain with copious amounts of liquor and confuse their foes with their movements.

The Berserker school was founded by the legendary warrior Qingya. Originally a gargantuan wolf, Qingya became enlightened by the teachings of Lan Yaoqi, who showed him how to focus his abilities and pass the knowledge onto his students. Renowned for both his fighting prowess and his legendary ability to hold his drink, Qingya’s students returned to the Valley of a Hundred Grasses and founded a Berserker school in his name.

A nomadic hero who cherishes freedom and would rather die than shatter their sword Berserkers feel most at home in the thick of the fray. Wielding their mass...
