SyFy Puts Out Series Order For Alan Tudyk's RESIDENT ALIEN

A long time ago we found out that Syfy had ordered a pilot for a TV series based on the Resident Alien comic from Dark Horse. Then we learned that Alan Tudyk was starring in the show, and we all got excited. Now THR is reporting that Syfy has put out a series order for the show.

“Described as a twisted and comedic fish-out-of-water story, Resident Alien follows an alien named Harry (Alan Tudyk, Firefly, Rogue One) who crash-lands on Earth and takes on the identity of a small-town Colorado doctor and slowly begins to wrestle with the moral dilemma of his secret mission. The series ponders the question of if human beings are worth saving.”

Resident Alien was originally created by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse and was adapted by Chris Sheridan. Tudyk’s co-stars include Levi Fiehler, Corey Reynolds, Sara Tomko, and Alice Wetterlund. I’m excited for this show.
