Sylvester Stallone Is Writing a ROCKY Prequel Film - "It's Almost Like LADY AND THE TRAMP"

Sylvester Stallone recently revealed that he’s writing a Rocky prequel movie, and he teased the story by likening it to Disney’s classic animated film Lady and the Tramp.

The story would revolve around teenage versions of Rocky and Adrian, and it sounds like it could make for a sweet story.

Stallone talked about the project while a guest on Inspire Me podcast, saying: "The Rocky prequel is very near and dear to my heart. I wrote a few pages of it and it just seems to write itself.

He continued: “Seeing Adrian at 15, Rocky at 17, Paulie moving to a new neighborhood. Rocky is your bad boy. It's almost like Lady and the Tramp, but with real people. It's going to be wonderful."

Adrian was played by Talia Shire in the original movies, while Paulie, Adrian's older brother and Rocky's best friend, was played by Burt Young.

So the events of this prequel film will take place about ten years before the events of the original movie. I’m actually on board with this, and it will be interesting to see if anything comes of it.

I hope Stallone gets to make this movie! Stallone wrote all six of the Rocky movies and he directed four of them.
