Taika Waititi is Back as Korg For the "Re-Revolution" in Marvel's CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS Motion Comic
Taika Waititi is reprising his Thor: Ragnarok character Korg in Marvel's new Contest of Champions motion comic. Korg is such a fun character and I was hoping we hadn't seen the last of him. I imagine we'll see him pop up in another Marvel movie at some point, but until then, this motion comic will have to do!
As you know, Korg considers himself to be a revolutionary, and this new story focuses on the character planning a new uprising. He calls it the Revolution 2.0, or the "Re-Revolution" and he's looking to recruit some people. This time he managed to print enough pamphlets.
Valkyrie, Miek, and a three-headed alien character that briefly showed up in Ragnarok, showed up and apparently, this is the most successful turn out that Korg has had to date! The motion comic also introduces the original Doug, who Korg mentioned in Thor: Ragnarok. Unfortunately, Doug is dead and won’t be available to join Korg’s "re-revolution."
It's great to see the character played with more, even if it is just in a motion comic. He has such a funny and quirky personality and you definitely get to see that personality shine in the video below. Enjoy!
