Whoa! I totally forgot that there was a live-action Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventures TV series in the early 90s! I recently came across this episode of Forgotten Failures from Hats Off Entertainment and my brain almost melted.

The series was created by Clifton Campbell. It aired on Fox from June 28th to August 9th, 1992, and it was so bad. The show was based on the films, and it followed the misadventures of two time-traveling slackers as they travel into the distant past and future.

Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter had nothing to do with it and that’s probably the biggest reason it failed. Instead, the series starred Evan Richards as Bill S. Preston Esq. and Christopher Kennedy as Ted Logan. No one had any interest in watching the show without Reeves and Winter.

If you’ve never even heard this show ever existed, you’re gonna love this!
