Take Art Collaborations to New Levels with the Free MAGMA STUDIO
Here at GeekTyrant, we like to show off some awesome artwork, but sometimes people feel stifled because they don’t have professional-grade software like Adobe Photoshop.
Well, there’s a new free drawing tool for artists and aspiring artists that doesn’t require you to install anything. Magma Studio is a browser-based drawing application from Bobby Chiu (Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland) and Jim Demonakos that not only lets you draw awesome art, but is also all about collaboration. This means that you and your friends can even work on a piece at the same time without having to send a file back and forth. Chiu says:
Magma Studio is a game changer for collaborative drawing. This application is specifically crafted for artists looking to create art with others, or any team looking to bring remote work to any device.
I think this is really cool and am interested to see how it translates into practice. I could see this as a great tool for art teachers and students or professionals or a myriad of other uses. Plus, you can always just use it by yourself simply as a free software option that only requires a browser. You can try out Magma Studio now for free.
