TALES OF HALLOWEEN Horror Anthology Film Coming from Neil Marshall and Darren Bousman

Horror movie fans have a new anthology film project in development called Tales of Halloween. The film follows in the footsteps of previously released horror anthologies such as the Trick 'r Treat, V/H/S, and The ABCs of Death. I've always enjoyed watching movies like this! I grew up on films and shows such as Tales From the Crypt, Black Sabbath, Tales From the Dark Side, and the Creepshow. As long as Tales of Halloween turns out to be fun and entertaining I'll watch it.

The news come from Deadline, who reports that the movie will consist of ten segments from eleven directors. It will be an interconnected series of stories, and they will all be set in "a sleepy American suburb terrorized by ghouls, aliens, and killers one Halloween night."

The directors lined up to direct segments for the movie include Neil Marshall (The Descent), Darren Bousman (Saw II, III and IV), Joe Begos (Almost Human), Axelle Carolyn (Soulmate), Adam Gierasch (Night of the Demons), Andrew Kasch (Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy) and John Skipp (Stay at Home Dad), Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider!), Dave Parker (The Hills Run Red), Ryan Schifrin (Abominable), and Paul Solet (Grace). Marshall said in a statement,

“It’s so great to be working with such a unique and talented group of directors. Many of ‘The October Society’ have been friends for years, so when Axelle had the idea of combining our talents for an anthology based on our mutual love of Halloween and all things scary, it was a no-brainer.”

As a huge fan of horror movies and Halloween, I'm really stoked to see what comes of this. They've already released a teaser poster for the feature, which you can see above.
