Taron Egerton to Star in Amblin/Netflix Action Thriller Feature CARRY ON From Director Jaume Collet-Serra
Taron Egerton (Kingsman, Rocketman) has found his next feature project with the Amblin/Netflix action thriller Carry On, from director Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, Jungle Cruise, Black Adam). TJ Fixman penned the first draft of the screenplay, with Michael Green doing the most recent update. The film marks the first production to come out of the overall deal Amblin signed with Netflix last June.
“The thriller centers on Ethan Kopek, a young TSA agent who gets blackmailed by a mysterious traveler to let a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Day flight.”
This sounds like a great project for everyone involved! Egerton can currently be seen in the Apple TV+ series Blackbird, and will star in the film Tetris about the legal battles which took place during the Cold War over ownership of the game, which is due out later this year.
