TASHA'S CAULDRON OF EVERYTHING Allows You to Change Your Subclass for a Price
Next month, Dungeons & Dragons will be releasing Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. This official supplement will offer the rules for sidekicks, the Artificer class for anyone who doesn’t have Eberron: Rising from the Last War, new subclasses and much more. Well, fans have a bit more knowledge of that “much more” part now thanks to a digital preview from Fantasy Grounds. ComicBook.com reports that the preview showed that players can change their subclass at level up and spells can be personalized.
According to the report, changing your subclass will be relatively easy, but resource consuming. You can only do it after leveling up and you have to spend a number of days equal to twice the level of your character and spend 100 gold per level. So, if you become level 5 and want to change, it’ll cost 10 days and 500 gold.
There’s not too much about personalizing spells, but based on the report, there will be a guide about taking spells and tweaking them to better fit your character. For instance, changing the damage type or even modifying the effects of spells. I’m definitely interested to dive deeper into this part of the book.
Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything will be available on November 17 from your favorite game stores or even Amazon.
