Tatiana Maslany Faces Unthinkable Terror in Trailer for Oz Perkins’ New Horror Film KEEPER

Director Osgood Perkins returns with another unsettling nightmare that crawls under your skin and stays there. Keeper, his latest horror film from Neon, just dropped a haunting new trailer, and it’s a chilling reminder that a “romantic cabin getaway” is not a good idea in a Perkins movie.

This marks Perkins’ third feature in just two years, and from the looks of it, he’s not slowing down on his dark creative streak. Keeper follows a couple, Liz (played by Tatiana Maslany, fresh off her role in The Monkey) and Malcolm (Rossif Sutherland), as they retreat to a remote cabin for an anniversary escape.

But when Malcolm suddenly leaves for the city, Liz finds herself alone — and the woods start whispering something far more sinister.

The official synopsis reads: “Osgood Perkins' new film Keeper follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm (Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Maslany) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin’s horrifying secrets.”

The trailer teases that something truly disturbing is hidden within those walls. Eerie whispers, shadowy figures, and flashes of women who may have met a grisly fate all hint at a deeper mystery, one that makes you wonder what exactly Malcolm has been “keeping” in that cabin.

Perkins has proven himself a master at crafting stylish, psychological horror films and his latest looks to carry that same eerie elegance, turning isolation and intimacy into instruments of fear.

The trailer’s imagery is crazy unsettling with its blend of rustic beauty and creeping dread. Keeper opens in select U.S. theaters on November 14, 2025.

If you’re into horror that digs into your mind and doesn’t let go, Keeper looks like it’ll be that kind of film.
