Taylor Kitsch Joins Chris Pratt in Amazon's Conspiracy Action Thriller THE TERMINAL LIST
Taylor Kitsch (John Carter) has been cast in Amazon’s TV series adaptation of Jack Carr’s novel The Terminal List. Kitsch will star alongside Chris Pratt in the project. Kitsch will play Ben Edwards, a former Navy SEAL and the best friend of James Reece, who is played by Pratt.
The story follows Reece “after his entire platoon of SEALS is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. When Reece returns home to his family, he questions his own culpability with muddled memories of the event. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him. Edwards uses his CIA Ground Branch access and operator skillset to help Reece seek his vengeance.”
This has been a passion project for Pratt, who is the one that initially acquired the rights to the novel and brought in Antoine Fuqua to direct. The author of the book is a former Navy SEAL and Special Ops team leader, and he is also attached to executive produce, as well as showrunner and writer David DiGilio.
To help with authenticity, the show will bring in veterans and their families “as part of multiple aspects of the series production, starting with writing. Half the show’s writing staffers are either veterans themselves or have veterans in their families.”
I’ve always like Kitsch, and it’s awesome to see that he will be teaming up with Chris Pratt on the series. They are going to make a great due in this project!
