Taylor Swift in DEADPOOL 3? Ryan Reynolds Says "I'd Do Anything For That Woman"
Rumors have been going around about musician and actress Taylor Swift possibly being involved in the upcoming Marvel movie, Deadpool 3. Fans pay close attention to the hints and Easter Eggs Swift posts on social media, and someone noticed the connection that the house in the video where Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman appeared to announce that Jackman’s Wolverine would be returning for the Deadpool sequel was the same house used for Swift’s All Too Well: The Short Film music video.
Reynolds has confirmed to Deadline that as of right now, Swift is not involved with the film, but he said he would like her to appear in the upcoming movie, adding, “Are you kidding me? I would do anything for that woman. She’s a genius.” Swift is close friends with Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively. She is often pictured with them, and has even made reference to the couple’s daughters in an acceptance speech.
In the same interview, Reynolds said he had been asking Jackman to be part of Deadpool “for six straight years.” “It was ultimately Hugh that said, ‘I think I am ready to come back,'” Reynolds added. “All we had to do was sell it to [producer] Kevin Feige, which didn’t take long, and the next thing you knew here we are.”
Filming for Deadpool 3 has not started yet, but Shawn Levy (Stranger Things, Free Guy) is set to direct the sequel while Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are set to pen the script.
I wouldn’t be opposed to Taylor Swift being in the cast. She is a good sport, and has a great sense of humor, so I know they’d give her a fun part.
