Disney Rumored to Want Taylor Swift to Be the Villain in the CRUELLA Sequel

I thought Disney’s first Cruella movie was great, and I enjoyed the hell out of Emma Stone’s performance. She was just wonderful in that movie, and according to Paul Walter Hauser, who plays Horace, Cruella 2 will go into production next year.

Stone is set to reprise her role, and the director of the first film Craig Gillespie and writer Tony McNamara are also returning to tell the next chapter of the story.

Now, according to The Disney Insider, we’ve learned that Taylor Swift is being eyed as the movie's villain. This is just a rumor and there’s been no confirmation of this, but if it’s true… it’d certainly be an interesting choice. It’s not hard to imagine Swift as a villain.

That’s not all, though, the report is also saying that the sequel will be a musical, which is kinda funny because the first movie was likened to Todd Phillips’ Joker, and the Joker sequel is also going to be a musical. Again, these are all just rumors for now, but it will be interesting to see if they actually end up being true.
