We’re getting a new Lord of the Rings video game from Wētā Workshop, the New Zealand-based special effects and props company that worked on Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, and it’s being published by Private Division.
The game is titled Tales of the Shire and it’s a "cozy" and "heartwarming" Lord of the Rings game. Most Lord of the Rings games are epic intense battle-ridden games, but this one… this one will let players live their best cozy and relaxing Hobbit life.

The teaser trailer features a Hobbit painting in a journal and humming a little tune. Yep, this is gonna be a pretty chill game with all the Hobbit lifestyle vibes, and you know what? I’m in.
The game will be released on PC and consoles sometime in 2024.
