ALIEN: EARTH Sneak Peek Clip Shows Off Some Savage Xenomorph Terror
Here’s a new sneak peek at Noah Hawley’sAlien: Earth that offers up some xenomorph terror that fans of the franchise are sure to love!
This clip was initially screened during Disney's 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, and it recently found its way online for all of us to enjoy!
The footage show us the last moments of a vessel before it crashes on Earth. It shows a man, who is most likely a synthetic, at the ship’s computer controls ignoring the cries for help of a young woman who is frantically banging at the door as a xenomorph is about to savagely attack her.
It seems like the synthetic was given instructions to keep the xenomorph alive and bring it to Earth, even if it cost the lives of the crew.
The series is set “two years before the events of the 1979 film Alien in 2010 when five corporations – Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic and Threshold wield the power of nations, and proprietary advancements in technology provide the promise of a new tomorrow.“
The series will find the characters "caught in a conflict with the beginning of artificial intelligence and the competition among developers and users."
In the series: "When a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet's greatest threat.
“As members of the crash recovery crew search for survivors among the wreckage, they encounter mysterious predatory life forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined.
“With this new threat unlocked, the search crew must fight for survival and what they choose to do with this discovery could change planet Earth as they know it.”
Hawley previously said of the story: "It's set on Earth of the future. At this moment, I describe that as Edison versus Westinghouse versus Tesla. Someone's going to monopolize electricity. We just don't know which one it is.”
He continued: “In the movies, we have this Weyland-Yutani Corporation, which is clearly also developing artificial intelligence-but what if there are other companies trying to look at immortality in a different way, with cyborg enhancements or transhuman downloads? Which of those technologies is going to win?"
This series will blend “both the timeless horror of the first Alien film with the non-stop action of the second, it’s going to be a scary thrill ride that will blow people back in their seats.“
