Teaser Trailer For Amazon's Upcoming JACK RYAN Series - "$10 Bill"

Amazon Studios has released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming Jack Ryan series based on the classic Tom Clancy book series. The promo is called "$10 Bill", and it follows a $10 bill as it travels from the bedroom of a little girl deep into the drug underworld. It's actually a pretty fascinating teaser. The first full trailer is set to premiere at NYCC.

The series stars John Krasinski (13 Hours, The Office) as Jack Ryan and it's being developed by Carlton Cuse, who previously brought us shows such as Lost, Bates Motel, and The Strain.

It's said that the series isn't a direct adaptation of the books like the first Jack Ryan movies. The show will be a reinvention to give us a "new contemporary take on the character in his prime as a CIA analyst/operative using the novels as source material."

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan follows an up-and-coming CIA analyst thrust into a dangerous field assignment for the first time. Ryan (Krasinski) uncovers a pattern in terrorist communication that launches him into the center of a dangerous gambit with a new breed of terrorism that threatens destruction on a global scale.

I think Krasinski is a great choice for the role of Ryan, who was previously played by Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck and Chris Pine. We don't see him in action in this first teaser, but we will on October 7th when the full trailer is released.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime in 2018.
