Teaser Trailer For an Impressive-Looking Harry Potter Fan Film Called VOLDEMORT: ORIGINS OF THE HEIR
Over the weekend a friend of mine sent me this teaser trailer for a fan-made Harry Potter short film called Voldemort: Origins of the Heir. I was super impressed with the production quality of the short and it looks like it's going to be a great film!
The short film was written and directed by Gianmaria Pezzato for Tryangle Films and it tells the story of the early life of Voldemort, the "powerful dark Wizard from the Harry Potter saga, and all the reasons that made his name so well-known and feared among his peers." The short hopes to give us a better understanding of who Tom Riddle was before he became Voldemort. Here's a description that was released:
What made Tom Riddle become Voldemort? What happened in those years, and what really went down at Hogwarts when he came back? There are some clues in the books which have not been transposed at all in the movies, but a lot goes unspoken. This is the story we want to tell: the rise of the Dark Lord before Harry Potter and his first demise.
According to BuzzFeed, The production company making the film says they have an agreement with Warner Bros. to release it on YouTube. I'm pretty excited to watch this when it's eventually finished and released. Watch the teaser and let us know what you think!
