We’ve got a little teaser trailer today for the new drama series by Apple, called The Morning Show. The series stars Reese Witherspoon (Legally Blonde, Big Little Lies), Steve Carell (The Office, Beautiful Boy), and Jennifer Aniston (Friends, Cake).

The series will debut on Apple TV Plus this fall and is being showrun by Kerry Ehrin. The idea for the drama comes from Michael Ellenberg’s Media Res studio and is loosely based on the rivalry between the Today show and Good Morning America, with components drawn from Brian Stelter’s 2013 book Top of the Morning, which touched on the rivalry.

The teaser gives us our first taste, and I’m pretty excited about it. The cast is stellar, and the story sounds like it’s going to be riveting. Check out the trailer below, and let us know if you’re excited for this series.

The news is only half the story. The Morning Show stars Academy Award-winner Reese Witherspoon, Emmy Award-winner Jennifer Aniston and Emmy Award-winner Steve Carell in a high-stakes drama that pulls back the curtain on early morning TV.
