Teaser Trailer for Casper Van Dien's Bitcoin Movie SATOSHI: THE MOVIE

Anarchy Pictures has released a teaser trailer for Satoshi: The Movie, a new Bitcoin-inspired movie about the creation of the cryptocurrency and its anonymous Japanese inventor Satoshi Nakamoto.

The tagline reads, "Freedom comes with a price,” and in the story, “When Hal and pseudonymous Satoshi's collaboration births Bitcoin, an unstoppable idea is etched in code. On another time chain as Hal is cryo-preserved, another pact rewrites everything.

“Satoshi is for anyone that values freedom, not just Bitcoiners. exploring: online friendships, human ingenuity, perseverance, resistance vs. oppressive regimes, the power of unstoppable ideas etched in code.”

"Satoshi reframes the question from who is Satoshi to why was Bitcoin born — honoring the freedom-first ethos at its core."

The movie stars Casper Van Dien as Hal Finney, and Peter Shinkoda as Satoshi Nakamoto, and it was directed by Shaun Piccinino.

There is very interesting story here, but unfortunately, this movie doesn’t look like they are going to execute it well. The movie is expected to debut on January 3rd, 2026.
