London Has Fallen is the sequel to the 2013 Die Hard-style White House-set action film Olympus Has Fallen, and Gerard Butler is back as badass Secret Service agent Mike Banning. He is sworn to protect the President of the United States (Aaron Eckhart).
In this new chapter, the two characters go to London so that they can attend the funeral of the British prime minister. That event ends up being a target for terrorists, so they team up with an MI6 agent, played Charlotte Riley, to try and prevent total chaos.
