Teaser Trailer For HBO's Divorce Drama Series WAR Starring Dominic West & Sienna Miller
HBO has released a teaser trailer for the divorce drama series War. starring Dominic West and Sienna Miller. The actors play tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson and film star Carla Duval in the grips of an acrimonious split.
Sitting in their corners are Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne, two of London’s most powerful law firms. The divorce draws young lawyer Jonathan “Johnny” Warren (Archie Renaux) into a ruthless world where ambition is currency, betrayal is strategy, and winning is everything.
Other cast includes Phoebe Fox as Serena Byrne and James McArdle as Nicholas Taylor; Nina Sosanya as Beatrice “Queen Bea” Ubosi and Pip Torrens as St John Smallwood; Celia Imrie, Nick Mohammed, Emma Laird, Aran Murphy, Archie Panjabi, Adrian Scarborough, Shaheen Jafargholi, Akiya Henry, Honor Swinton Byrne, Miles Jupp, Kartanya Maynard, Alexandra Mardell, Dylan Murphy, Mark Quartley, and Steve Furst.
The series is created, written, and executive-produced by George Kay, alongside executive producers Willow Grylls and Matt Sandford for New Pictures, and Susan Breen, Ben Taylor, Andrea Dewsbury, and Megan Spanjian for Sky. The lead director is Ben Taylor, and the series producer is Laurie Borg.
Season 2 has already been greenlit and is in production. Marisa Tomei, Kelly Macdonald, and David Harewood will star in the next legal battle, as their lawyers become embroiled in an explosive defamation case.
The eight-part series premieres on October 1 on HBO and October 2 on Sky. War will stream on HBO Max in the U.S., Australia, Southeast Asia, Latin America, France, and Belgium.
