Teaser Trailer For JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 Announces a One Night Movie Event

A teaser trailer has been released for Jeepers Creepers 3 and it gives us our first footage from the film featuring the return of The Creeper. It is also announced that Fathom Events is hosting a one-night event for the movie taking place on September 26th. The screenings will include special bonus footage and an interview with the Creeper himself, Jonathan Beck

It was previously revealed that the third film in the franchise is a direct sequel to the first film that was released in 2001, which saw a brother and sister, played by Justin Long and Gina Philips, cross paths with the deadly creature who feasts on the body parts of humans.

The movie will also serve as a bridge that leads into the events of Jeepers Creepers 2. So this third movie is both a sequel and a prequel. The story follows "a group of hunters (led by Meg Foster), who are completely aware of the Creeper’s mythology, and looking to stop the creature before it ends its eatin’ spree." Here's an early description of the story:

Jeepers Creepers 3 will show events on the last day of the Creeper’s twenty-three day feeding frenzy, as the skeptical Sergent Tubbs teams up with a task force hellbent on destroying the Creeper for good. The Creeper fights back in gory glory as its enemies grow closer than ever before to learning the secret of its dark origins.

I really loved the first Jeepers Creepers films, but it wasn't until later that I found out what director Victor Salva had done, which is absolutely horrible and I completely condemn in every way. Because of that, this film has been met with controversy. So, I will just deliver the news and let you decide what you want to do with it.

In theaters for one night only! For one night only via Fathom Events. On the last day of The Creeper's 23 day feeding frenzy, Sargent Tubbs teams up with a task force hell-bent on destroying the creature for good. The Creeper fights back in gory glory as his enemies get close to discovering his dark origins.
