Netflix has released a teaser trailer for Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming action film The Mother. In the film. Lopez plays a deadly female assassin who comes out of hiding to protect the daughter that she gave up years before, while on the run from dangerous men.

The film comes from director Niki Caro (Mulan) from a script written by Misha Green (Lovecraft Country) with revisions by Andrea Berloff (Straight Otta Compton). The movie also stars Joseph Fiennes, Lucy Paez, Omari Hardwick, Paul Raci, and Gael Garcia Bernal.

The Mother is set to be released in May 2023. Check out the trailer below.
