I’m a huge fan of the horror game franchise Silent Hill. I’ve been a fan ever since that first game was released in 1999. That franchise has stayed strong over the years and a new installment of the game is coming! It’s titled Silent Hill: Townfall, and the first teaser trailer has been released.

The game comes from No Code Studio, the developer behind the indie hit horror title Observation, in a partnership with Annapurna Interactive.

The teaser is pretty vague and doesn’t give much info. It just features a radio speaking about punishment and judgment. However, Creative Director Jon McKellan said that this would be a different kind of Silent Hill game, but it will still be respectful to the source material.

He also said that the game will have the same kind of psychological horror as the studio’s other games Observation and Stories Untold. As a longtime fan of the franchise, I can’t wait to see what this new game turns out to be.
