Teaser Trailer for Marvel's CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD
Marvel Studios released the first teaser trailer and poster for Captain America: Brave New World, featuring the return of Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson aka Captain America.
As you know, Sam Wilson officially took on the mantle of Captain America in the finale of Marvel’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and fans have been interested to see how that story arc will continue in this next movie.
In the film, “After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident.
“He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”
When previously talking about the film, Kevin Feige said he’s looking to capture the same magic that they delivered in Captain America: The Winter Solider by leaning into the whole political thriller aspect of the story.
You definitely get a sense of that vibe and tone in this trailer. I also just have to point out… even though Sam Wilson doesn’t have any super powers, he sure acts like he does!
Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, with Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, and Tim Blake Nelson.
The film is directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore.
