Teaser Trailer for Netflix's High School-Set Korean Zombie Series ALL OF US ARE DEAD
Netflix released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Korean horror zombie series All of Us Are Dead. The show is based on the digital comic Now at Our School by Joo Dong-Geun, and the story follows a group of students who try to survive after their school is overrun by a horde of zombies.
It’s explained that a high school becomes “ground zero for a zombie virus outbreak. Trapped students must fight their way out — or turn into one of the rabid infected.”
The original web-comic was published between 2009 and 2011 and consists of only nine chapters. This series is expected to expand on the story and its lore. They’ll have to if they want to draw the series out over the course of multiple seasons!
This reminds me of the manga and anime High School of the Dead, which was a blast! This new high school-set zombie series looks like it’ll be fun and wild, though, and the makeup and special effects are on point. I’m looking forward to checking it out!
All of Us Are Dead is directed by Lee JQ and Kim Nam-su. Chun Sung-il writes all 12 episodes of the first season. The series stars Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hoo, Cho Yi-hyun, Park Solomon, and Yoo In-soo.
All of Us Are Dead will rise from the grave on January 28th.
