Teaser Trailer for Netflix's Hit Horror Film THE PLATFORM 2
Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia’s 2020 film The Platform was a massive hit for Netflix, and it ended up becoming one of the most-watched original movies in the streaming service’s history.
The first teaser trailer has been released for the sequel, The Platform 2, and it looks like Gaztelu-Urrutia has made another insane horror film.
The synopsis reads: “A mysterious figure has managed to establish a new law in The Platform, but can justice truly be enforced in hell? And who will enforce it?”
The original film is set inside a vertical prison system, where inmates are assigned to a level and forced to ration food from a platform that moves between the floors.
Inmates on high floors eat better than those below, and one man tries to effect change so everyone gets enough.
The movie stars Milena Smit and Hovik Keuchkerian and it’s set to premiere on October 4, 2024. If you haven’t seen the original movie yet, it’s worth the watch.
