Teaser Trailer For Nickelodeon's Reboot of ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?
Nickelodeon has released the first teaser trailer for their upcoming reboot of the young-adult horror series Are You Afraid of the Dark?. This is a limited series that will consist of three hour-long episodes that will introduce a new Midnight Society.
This group of kids that make up the Midnight Society will “tell a terrifying tale about the Carnival of Doom, only to have the events of the story come to life.” This looks like it’ll be a fun show to watch with the kids.
The main cast includes Sam Ashe Arnold as Gavin, Rafael Casal as Mr. Tophat, Miya Cech as Akiko, Tamara Smart as Louise, Jeremy Taylor as Graham, and Lyliana Wray as Rachel.
This limited series was written by BenDavid Grabinski (Skiptrace) with Dean Israelite (Power Rangers) directing them. It was supposed to originally coincide with the release of the Are You Afraid of the Dark? feature film. But that film has since been removed from Paramount Pictures’ release schedule and its writer, Gary Dauberman, left the project, so it looks like plans have changed. But the series will still be released.
The Are You Afraid of the Dark limited series is set to be released sometime this October.
