A teaser trailer and poster have been released for a pandemic-set indie sci-fi short titled Hell in a Handbasket. The film, from Jetlag Pictures, is the latest from Canadian filmmaker Lee Chambers, and it stars Robert Bryn Mann as Dale and Hoyt Richards as Dr. Forester.

Here’s the synopsis:

Dale (Robert Bryn Mann), a lonely research scientist working in the Arctic struggles to maintain his solitary existence. With the world failing from a global pandemic, all hopes fall on Dale's shoulders as he represents the last stand for humanity.

This looks like a fun little short to check out. It is cool to see all the projects that people were still able to make during the pandemic as an outlet for their creativity and solution to their boredom. Check out the trailer and poster below, and watch Hell in a Handbasket on June 4th.
