Gory Teaser Trailer for Syfy's SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE Horror Movie Remake
Syfy Channel has released the first teaser trailer for Shout! Studios’ upcoming remake of the classic 1982 horror slasher film Slumber Party Massacre. The teaser gives us our first look at the film, and it shows off some bloody, gory scenes as a bunch of coeds are being hunted down by a crazed killer who wields a giant-ass power drill!
The movie is described as a new “contemporary twist-filled reimagining of the 1982 slasher cult classic just in time for Halloween. A slumber party turns into a bloodbath, as a psychotic serial killer wielding a power drill disrupts the fun.”
I haven’t seen the original movie since I was a teenager. I honestly don’t remember much of it, but if you enjoy a lot of blood and gore, then maybe you’ll have fun watching this remake.
The movie is directed by Danishka Esterhazy (Vagrant Queen) from a script written by Suzanne Keilly (Ash vs. Evil Dead). It stars Hannah Gonera, Frances Sholto-Douglas, Mila Rayne, Alex McGregor, and Reze-Tiana Wessels.
The project was developed by Shout! Studios after the studio acquired the New Horizon Pictures library, which includes 270 films from executive producer Roger Corman.
