Teaser Trailer for TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD Gives Us a Sneak Peak at All the New Characters
A teaser trailer has been released for the next series in the world of The Walking Dead, titled Tales of The Walking Dead, an anthology series that will take us on new adventures with characters brand new to the TWD universe, as well as some familiar faces.
The cast of the new series includes Olivia Munn (The Newsroom, The Predator), Daniella Pineda (Cowboy Bebop, Jurassic World Dominion) Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, America’s Got Talent), Parker Posey (Dazed and Confused, Blade: Trinity), Jillian Bell (Brittany Runs a Marathon, Bless the Harts), Anthony Edwards (Top Gun, ER), and Poppy Liu (Better Call Saul, Hacks).
Directors for the spinoff include Haifaa al-Mansour (Good Lord Bird), Deborah Kampmeier (Star Trek: Picard), Tara Nicole Weyr (The Wilds), and Michael Satrazemis (The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead), with Channing Powell (The Walking Dead) serving as showrunner.
A spinoff centered on the character Daryl Dixon is also in the works, along with a Maggie/Negan-centered spinoff series titled Isle of the Dead that will be set in New York City.
