Teaser Trailer For The Apple TV+ Animated Comedy Film LUCK

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for Skydance Animation’s upcoming comedy film Luck. The trailer introduces us to Bob the Cat, who introduces us to the Land of Luck and how it all works there.

The story centers on Sam Greenfield, “the unluckiest person in the world, who when she stumbles into the never-before-seen Land of Luck, sets out on a quest to bring some good luck home for her best friend. But with humans not allowed, her only chance is teaming up with the magical creatures who live there to do it.”

The voice cast for the film includes Jane Fonda, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Noblezada, Simon Pegg, Flula Borg, Lil Rel Howery, Colin O'Donoghue, John Ratzenberger, and Adelynn Spoon.

The former head of Pixar Studios, John Lasseter, was hired by Skydance shortly after he was fired from Pixar for alleged sexual harassment to run their animation department. The movie was directed by Peggy Holmes and Cars writer, Kiel Murray, was brought in to write the script.

Skydance Animation is also developing other films with the likes of former Disney director Alan Menken, The Iron Giant director Brad Bird, and The Simpsons director Rich Moore.

Luck looks like the kind of film the kids will enjoy and it will be released on August 5th, 2022.
