Teaser Trailer For THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS Animated Movie

Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures have released the teaser trailer for a new CG animated film they are developing called The Secret Life of Pets. My kids are going to love the hell out of this movie, as will millions of other children.

Illumination Entertainment is the same studio that brought us Despicable Me, Hop, and the upcoming Minions spinoff movie. This latest project of theirs is a comedy that follows the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day. So it's basically like Toy Story, but with animals. 

The Secret Life of Pets is directed by Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney, and it features the voice cast of Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress and Albert Brooks. It's set to open on July 8th, 2016.
