Teaser Trailer For THE WITCHER Season 4 Unleashes Liam Hemsworth’s Geralt in Monster-Hunting Action

Netflix has finally dropped the first teaser trailer for The Witcher Season 4, giving fans their first real look at Liam Hemsworth stepping into the role of Geralt of Rivia. It was also announced that the series will return on October 30th.

While Hemsworth’s take on the White Wolf was teased before, this trailer shows him in full Witcher mode, wielding blades and signs as he faces off against one of the franchise’s classic monsters, a nightmarish Wraith.

As fans of the books and games know, physical weapons won’t do much against a Wraith. That’s where the Yrden sign comes in. Hemsworth’s Geralt drops the magical trap, making the ghostly foe corporeal before tearing into it. A quick scream, some disintegration, and Geralt chalks up another victory.

The trailer give us a first taste of the new energy Hemsworth is bringing to the role, which was previously played by Henry Cavill, who was awesome in the role. The question is… will fans accept Hemsworth version of the character?
In addition to the trailer, Redanian Intelligence unveiled several first-look photos from the new season. These images give us glimpses of Ciri, Yennefer, Regis, Zoltan, Yarpen, Percival, Valdo Marx, Francesca, the new Vesemir (played by Peter Mullan), and Ida Emean, plus everyone’s favorite bard, Jaskier.

Season 4 will also mark the debut of Laurence Fishburne as the fan-favorite vampire Regis, and Danny Woodburn as the beloved dwarf warrior Zoltan.

Netflix also released the official poster for The Witcher Season 4, spotlighting Geralt, Ciri (played by Freya Allan), and Yennefer (played by Anya Chalotra), teasing the trio’s continued journey as the Continent plunges deeper into chaos.

A fifth and final season is currently in production, so enjoy the ride while it lasts. The Witcher Season 4 premieres October 30 on Netflix.
