Teaser Trailer For The Zack Snyder-Produced Netflix Film ARMY OF THIEVES
Netflix released the first teaser trailer for the Zack Snyder-Produced film Army of Thieves, which is a spinoff prequel of Army of the Dead. The tagline in the trailer reads, “Witness the Army Before the Dead,” and it looks like it’ll be a silly and fun heist flick. This movie actually looks like it might be more entertaining than Army of the Dead!
This new movie will center around the amusing German safecracker Ludwig Dieter, who is played by Matthias Schweighöfer. In the story, “small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe.”
This story takes place in Europe while America is dealing with the zombie outbreak. It also stars Games of Thrones alum Nathalie Emmanuel, Guz Khan (Turn Up Charlie), Ruby O. Fee, Stuart Martin (Jamestown), Jonathan Cohen (Budapest), Noemie Nakai, Peter Simonischek (Toni Erdmann), and John Bubniak.
The screenplay for the film was written by Shay Hatten from a story by Snyder and Hatten. Matthias Schweighöefer is directing the film. The movie is expected to be released later this year.
