Teaser Trailer Gives Fans a First look at THE WALKING DEAD: DARYL DIXON
AMC has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming spinoff series, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. The show will follow the character Daryl Dixon from the flagship series, who is played by Norman Reedus. The synopsis for the series reads:
“In The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Daryl (Norman Reedus) washes ashore in France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey, though, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.”
The actor said to EW of the character’s journey to France:
"His journey was a long one. Longer and even harder and weirder than you would think. He was so close to getting what he wanted and to where he wanted to be. And, of course, in Walking Dead rules, he had it ripped away. To Daryl, you might as well have dropped him on the moon. This world now, it's bigger, it's deeper, and just as heavy, if not heavier."
There’s a lot on the line for this character! This looks like a whole new world within the TWD universe, and I look forward to watching Daryl explore it. Check out the haunting clip below, and get ready for the series to drop on AMC this fall.
