Teaser Trailer: Keke Palmer and Demi Moore Headline Star-Studded Fashion Heist Movie I LOVE BOOSTERS
A fun teaser trailer has been released for the star-studded fashion heist movie I Love Boosters, from writer and director Boots Riley (Sorry to Bother You).
The film features an ensemble cast led by Keke Palmer and Naomi Ackie, alongside LaKeith Stanfield, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, Eiza González, Don Cheadle and Demi Moore.
The film is described as a satirical, politically charged comedy following "The Velvet Gang," a crew of professional shoplifters—defined as those who steal clothes to sell at a discount—who target a cutthroat fashion maven.
Described as an "ode to shoplifting" and "community service," it explores wealth disparity through a surreal, stylish lens.
The film will make its world premiere as the opening night film of the South by Southwest Film and Television Festival’s 40th edition, bringing Riley back to Austin, where he first debuted as a feature filmmaker.
