TED LASSO Star Hannah Waddingham Says Season 4 Starts Shooting This Summer and Praises the "Beautifully Drawn" Script

Everyone’s favorite series, Ted Lasso, is officially returning, and one of the stars of the series is teasing a summer start date. Hannah Waddingham, who plays AFC Richmond Owner Rebecca Welton on the show, recently sat down in an interview with Capital FM, where she said, "We start shooting in July. We thought we'd mourned the loss, and now it's rising from the dead!"

She went on to add, "Our writers are literally Jedi Knights. They're just incredible. And we've got like a full room of real feminist men. So we've got all the fabulous women there, and the men that are in there, and I think you really see it in the scripts... It's just so beautifully drawn."

The series ended after its promised three season run from 2020-2023, and after a major outcry from fans, the creators and stars have decided to return, much to our delight.
